Here’s What Happened at the Library This Week is part of a long-term series of “tear-off books” sized to fit in a pants pocket, with perforated removable pages intended to be shared.
The pages can start a conversation, or leave someone with something to think about, or do, after a chance meeting, or an argument. This book includes one-sentence stories from librarians about occurrences in libraries throughout 2023 and 2024, weekly events that demonstrate how libraries are essential public spaces. The back of each page shares one action you can take to support your library. This book is a collaboration with Emily Drabinski.
